Seeding cycling with your Supper

I have a great Green Goddess Bowl recipe for those ladies that are seed cycling. Both sesame and sunflower are key ingredients in this delicious recipe, making it a great option for day 14 onwards of your cycle. I made this last night for my hubby and myself. My kiddos ate the deconstructed version of it drizzled with tamari sauce. My kids are not a fan of the bitterness of the tahini or the taste of massive amounts of ginger, but I sure am!

STEP 1 - make the sauces.

Tahini Sauce

-simply add the following into a food processor or blender and whiz until creamy and blended

-2 cloves garlic

-1/2 cup parsely

-1/2 tsp sea salt

-2 tbsp lemon juice

-2/3 up filtered water

-1/2 cup sesame butter (tahini)

Secret Sauce

-Put all ingredients into a jar and shake

-1/2 cup tamari

-3 tbsp sesame oil

-1 1/2 inch of minced ginger root

-4 tbsp lemon juice

STEP 2 - Cook 2 cups of brown basmati rice in 3 cups of water.

-Optional- cube and fry tofu into 1-2 tsp of avocado oil

STEP 3 - Steam the following veggies while toasting 1/2 cup sunflower seeds in a pan on medium.

-1 head broccoli cut into florets

-1 head of boy choy

-1 bunch of kale

STEP 4- assemble the bowl!

-put rice down first, and drizzle with 2 tbsp of Tahini Sauce.

-tear up a sheet of nori and put on top

-arrange steamed green, sprinkle of toasted sesame seeds

-add in optional tofu

-drizzle Secret Sauce on top

-garnish with pickled ginger if you want!

ENJOY!!!!
