Adding Cruciferous Veggies into Smoothies.

Wait - what? Cruciferous veggies in a smoothie?!?!?

It does sound crazy. But my kids will only eat broccoli, and I have tried so many other tricks to get them eating other cruciferous veg in the past.

Well, I discovered the trick.

it is FROZEN CAULIFLOWER.

YES!!! I had a huge chunk of frozen cauliflower and no one moans or groans, they slurp it up and get healthier.

Here is my fool-proof recipe:

-1 banana

-2 cups frozen strawberries

-1 cup frozen cauliflower

-I scoop vega protein powder (we like chocolate in this recipe)

-2-4 cups almond milk (more if you like liquid smoothies, and less if you like thick)

-may also add in collagen or any other add ins you have like chia, flax, etc

Blend that all up!
